Medical Reporting Organisation (MRO) Agreement
The MRO Agreement, renewed in April 2012 and will subsequently be renewed on an annual rolling basis, provides predictability in the cost of medical evidence and streamlines the recovery of costs for medical reports in personal injury claims. The agreement facilitates direct billing to insurers for medical reports, allowing third party insurers to pay medical fees directly for orthopaedic, A & E and GP reports where damages are less than £15,000.
