Mandatory CPR Training for Mobile Doctors Expert Examiners
All Medical Experts are required to have a full understanding of Part 35 and Practice Direction 35, the Protocol for the Instruction of Experts to Give Evidence in Civil Claims and the practice direction on pre-action conduct.
In order to assist our Experts in keeping abreast of this evolving legislation Mobile Doctors is working in partnership with Bond Solon, the UK’s leading Expert Witness Training Company, to offer a comprehensive training package to adhere to and demonstrate your obligations as an Expert.
Mobile Doctors now require all Expert examiners who we instruct to complete the Bond Solon Civil Procedure Rules for Expert Witnesses web-based learning package. This straight forward training package consists of
- Five modules
- Self study reading materials,
- Background information
- Multiple choice assessments which verify the expert’s level of understanding.
- Notification of future changes/amendments to the CPR
- Up to 6 hours self study CPD
Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the Bond Solon Civil Procedure Rules for Expert Witnesses Certificate and will be able to insert the following wording and logo within your reports.
“I am aware of the requirements set out in Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules and the accompanying Practice Direction, the Protocol for the Instructions of Experts to give Evidence in Civil Claims, and the Practice Direction for Pre-action conduct. I have obtained the Bond Solon Civil Procedure Rules Expert Witnesses Certificate to evidence my understanding and compliance of the above requirements.”
Future Amendments/Updates
There will be future amendments to the Civil Procedure Rules. Upon completion of the certificate you will be automatically notified of future changes to the CPR and will be able to be re-certified as and when required.
